Tending the Fire

Posted by summer storms on March 28, 2009 at 9:19 PM
in my mind, our fire burns bright

passionate heat emanating

from remembered caresses

your touch searing my memory

fueled by kisses shared

time stands still in my dreams

and those words never voiced

consume my heart, my soul

and my longing is an ache

in the glowing embers that flare

as thoughts of you creep in

keeping me warm in

the cold, dark night

So, so nice...those fires need tending. Lovely piece.

They do.... for there are times when there is only an ember, but if it is tended to, it can flare back up and rage again... Thank you, very much.
