It is amazing how fast time flies and the years go by. Been waxing very nostalgic lately. It was nice to come back for a visit. Already been 7 years, unreal. I've been massively busy during that time undertaking all kinds of crazy endeavors. My author page on Amazon is growing, I think it is 8 titles now (two books are mine, the rest I simply appear in, one as the featured poet).

Check out my profile here, I updated it, if you are interested in catching up on all the crazy stuff I've done.

I'm here to catch up on all the crazy stuff you and others have done, spent a couple hours perusing profiles and reading stuff. Thanks for keeping this going.

We should try to get more of the Facebook "ex-MySpacers" to come here and check it out.

I even moved across the nation since we last communicated. I'll NEVER forget our MySpace days, they were incredibly special, such a fantastic group of people, a stellar community.

Haven't touched base for a while. Hope all is well with you and yours. Here is a write I thought you might like. I am not sure how to ahre it with others. Sam.

WHAT DAWNED THIS MORNING

The shell of morning
Has just cracked open
The day?s sun yellow yoke
Behind the horizon
Yet to spill
On my balcony overlooking
The dark-water bayou
In still silence I stand
The chilled, damp morning air clings
While I await a marvel
That repeats each morn
Filling my eyes with hope
For encompassed in
The dawning of certainty
Imbedded in each day
Opportunity is
Anew reborn
There?s a great white egret rookery
Just upstream
In cypress treetops dozens awaken
Silent sentinels stand in stark contrast
Against the dim, dark morning sky
Waiting for beaconing bright rays
Of distant light to break the horizon
Before they take wing in flight
One by one with great flaps
They fling themselves on high
To skim above treetop?s sheer outline
Slow feathered darts
Hurled by hunger?s incessant pain
In a world where brief respite
Is the only gain
As they waft by my eyes behold
A new dawning
A realm ruled by need, not by greed
Where for the living
What?s needed is given
A wondrous white winged world
Whispering of our original fate
Where opportunity is always there
But rarely comes to those who wait

I've not been around as much as usual, missing you and missys banter on video shows!

Be well, bro! When I finally have more mental energy to write all the ideas that are stirring in my head, you will be seeing some rather diff stuff!

Thanks as always for all you do at the site :)
