Besides my writing, I have a deep passion for Photography and sports. I am a health nut and enjoy staying fit and working out. If I had more time I swear I would live at the gym!..LOL..I love reading and read many different authors. I guess you could say I am a book~worm..

Yes I am a published author and I have started work on my second horror novel and also have completed a book of all my poetry that I have put together over the past 4 Yrs. In time I will publish my older poetry but not at this time.

KEPT

I imagine life on the outside;

I stare at my own reflection,

As It appears I am left with silence by my side.

I watch as life carries on filled with hope,

Only to feel trapped;

I rest my eyes for sleep,

For within grief I am wrapped.

This is my soul breathing for life,

Any form it may know;
This is my mind reaching for sanity,

Before I completely let go.

I gaze out past glass walls,

That now seem to echo my name;

I shall fight to break free from this prison,

For my heart isn't meant to be tamed.

Light flickers before my eyes,

Under the black of midnight;

I am a shell kept inside a glass box,

Giving up it's fight.

Perhaps it is my mind the spirits find fascinating,
Of it's quality they try and preserve;

The air I breathe has become shallow,

As spectators hesitantly observe.

I watch as I am slowly lowered,

Into six feet of ground.

This is me breathing;

Beneath my own sound.

This is a spirit set free;
Eternity dwells underground,

For this is where you shall find me.

Breathing within my own sound.
