Themotional Thursday - All consuming self-loathing

Posted by Shadow Wolfe on April 11, 2013 at 8:50 PM

THEMOTIONAL THURSDAY

Sometimes you got to dig deep and pull out all the longing, fears, self-loathing and worthlessness things make you feel in a day... and just bleed it out. A lot of us do it every day we write our poetry... self-help for the wounded.

So today...

Just dig deep...

and let it out....

No rules... just an emotional exploration... .

Fallen Angel

An angel fallen,
or so they say.
A demon in disguise,
or so they think.

Through the ashes I've become rotten.
Stealing the hearts of others who've lost their way.
Shedding my wings as I dropped from the skies,
Guarding souls on the destructive brink.

Sitting amongst Mortals, trying to see the light.
Only happy when comes the night.
Avoiding mirrors, hiding from the darkness of my mind.
Turning all emotions off so I can hide.

Who wants to know an Angel that can't perform miracles
Reduced to a mere disaster Deity
The tragedy of my soul seems almost lyrical
The beauty of my eyes only mask my ability.

Lust of my body, enjoying the pleasure without any touch.
Deities are not cruel, nor kind, indifferent.
Wanting to feel something, anything, way too much.
Deity of Chaos, fighting numbness, becoming human was more efficient.
Fallen Angel, plucked wings, a punishment for falling in love.
