Themotional Thursday: A study in fear.

Posted by Shadow Wolfe on February 28, 2013 at 7:20 PM

Today's Themotional Thursday is a study in fear.

Fear comes in many forms and ways, one of them is the Panic Attack

Panic attacks are intense, overpowering surges of fear. Some people experience panic attacks - periods of quickly escalating, intense fear and discomfort accompanied by such physical symptoms as rapid heartbeat, trembling, shortness of breath, dizziness, and nausea. Because people with this extreme form of fear cannot predict when these attacks will strike, they worry about having more panic attacks and may limit their activities outside the home.

For some they are a subtle thing that goes on in their heads unknown to anyone else, as well.

So we will take this picture, which I absolutely love

And use the form:

Fibonacci

Definition The number of syllables in each line must equal the sum of the syllables in the two previous lines. So, start with 0 and 1, add them together to get your next number, which is also 1, 2 comes next, then add 2 and 1 to get 3, and so on.Fibonnaci: 0, 1, 1, 2, 3, 5, 8, 13, 21...Poetry: 1 syllable, 1 syllable, 2 syllables, 3 syllables, 5 syllables, 8 syllables, 13 syllables, 21 syllables...

Example

I

like

to blog.

Frequently.

Theory matters.

Computer science (theory)

is my home and geometric algorithms are

sublime. Let P be a set of points in general position in the plane. Amen.

My

brain

can find

such solace

in this simple verse

made of certain syllable words.

So let's explore this type of fear and fear reaction.... and get inside the head of this woman...

Get to it! Good luck!!

Themotional thurs challenge 2/28/2012
Picture challenge, I did 2 parts one from the patients aspect one from the doctors.

Patient 153 - Part 1

Alone,
Again.
What's that?
Can it be?
Hands everywhere,
Come to get me. I am so lost.
My heart pounds as they reach the fragileness of my soul.
Make the fear go away. The doctor said I would be fine, it was all in my mind.
The straps tight, so tight they hurt. No! Not straps... Hands. Poke! Poke! Poke! Doc said I'll have a procedure, my mind is overrun by my own delusions.

Patient 153 - part 2
As
I
Pen this
My patient
Lays chained to the wall.
Diagnosis is very grim.
Her fears of demon hands attacking are unfounded.
Prognosis of female patient; delusional, prone to panic attacks, hysterics.
Procedure for female patient one five three; lobotomy of the frontal lobe to calm her erratic behavior, on this day June 6th, 1889.
