You were there again last night...

I touched your shoulders, took a breath and inspired you...

only then to wake up to another sun in a different world.

Yet again, there you were in another dream.

Fall...I only wish the wind wasn't so cold this year.

This time you whispered in my ear and inspired me,

I still feel the warmth of your sun.

My garden grows over your grave...

I wonder if you noticed.

Did the fruits of your life bear semblance

Lost and Found

Shall I walk bound

With the very fiber of my essence

Used against me

A natural plot

Where friendship denies simple definition

Your cause hides behind this tabernacle

Calling to me from a place too far

My spirit falls under the siren

Over a pit of darkness

Pulling on my shoulders from the inside

With only a thought of you

I'm bound again and breathless

My sweat frozen at the start of Winter

I cant shake

These f...

Broken Arrows

Valentine tips

His arrows

His points

With passion

High atop

A new wall

A declaration

Showing no mercy

Or devotion

Taking aim

At my

Heart destroyed

By desire

Cupid's intent

Instant obsession

Declaring we

Are just

Roses growing

In gardens

Destined cut

While trying

To show love

You avoid

Being pierced by

Angelic arrows

I Want to Know You

I want to know you

Beyond the poetic weaving of words

For the want of a single moment

To hold you and smell the perfume you wear

Your arms resting in parallel with mine

While fingers adorned with silver and gold

Express an...

I Don't

I'm not here to change your world...

I'm on the inside!

I just want to live this life.

But failing that... You have to know...

What you mean to me...

Don't you want to change your world?

Thoughts, Requiems, Embers and Reaction

On turn of a calendar page,

Living no peace in an icy haze.

Looking for the answers, I'll question no one.

My home is in a bad land.

On the close of an emotional...

Doom

Just a little over half of his life expectancy had already blazed by in a frenzied flash like an old flashbulb from a 1940's Polaroid camera. He'd always used the name Dante, it somehow befit his circumstances as he walked along a dark wooded path, just out of sight of the dark grey pavement of Dead Marsh Trail.

I Hate Mondays

I hate Mondays

The turn of cheek

A new week writes another chapter

Often darker than Sundays before

For what they are

Emotional embers of a week long fire

Burning with each ...

Of Wait and Measure

Measure the weight of a heart

Of a man whose mind waited

For a merciful freedom

Paid for at a price

Just short the cost of his soul.

Measure and find a mustard seed

Thunderstorm

I just can't forecast your thunderstorm

Undercover as hearts are torn

With all that I can bring

As the season changes hopefully

Just to forget your way

In a song I never heard you sing.

Stare into the rain

As it wells up unexpectedly

Pouring insecurity

I can feel your pain.

Thought you had a clue

Stop leading it this way

But if love condemns you

It will rain again someday.
