I found a flicker weary
Fading in dusky solitude
Beaten over in persecutions
Damned through self-flagellation

Carrying burdens that don’t belong
Bruised by those who would use
Betrayed time and time again
Tormented and terrorized

Standing reserved, an observer
Untouched still, depravity lost
Kept for a higher purpose
Here to love, to be treasured

I found a flame wild
Blazing in moonlights g...

I wrote this for Shadow Wolfe's Themotional Thursday and the photo I took for Cutter and Gypsy's 365 group on Facebook (I did a little rearranging of the lines). I think they go well together.

The Deity I See

The small of an innocent's heart
The enormity of an innocent's love

The inner workings of the computer
The inner workings of the human body

My child receiving nourishment from my breast
My child's first steps

The simplicity of grace
The complexity of grace

These four walls that travel with
Infinity on the other side

Feminine Facting

At eleven, it meant nothing

Feminine flatlands

Not yet defined, delivered

No exalting of songs

No Psalms to worship womb.

At twelve, it meant everything

Feminine fruitful

Bloomed demented, despicable

Of one whose taste was satiated

Exalted songs of putridity

Psalms that curses womb.

At present, it means so many things

Feminine facting

Stricken with discomfort, desire

Searching al...

Yummy bad girl fantasy

Secret behind raised eyebrow

I want a man to please me

Listen close, I'll whisper how

I long to wear his man-suit

Crisp fine shirt, silk tie and all

With silver links a dangling

From cuffs ending sleeves too long

I want him to undress me

Using only hungry teeth

Peeling away the layers

To the naughty girl unseen

Beginning with...

Take Me

Take this confusion by the mind

a self-inflicted lack

nurtured knowledge compromised

for enduring physical necessity

slowed enough to understand

ignorance rules my life

in need of patient teaching

to break through false learning

and quench a thirst to know.

Take this hollow by the heart

peace and joy inspired beats

for me, for you

turning cold like stone

a will dying

halting thumping e...

Goddess in Gratitude

The grass is damp and cool beneath me

Wistful fingers play

Fondling my neck, legs

The arch of my back

My dreams

I stretch for the heavens and sigh.

Ocean vast with twinkling eyes

Entranced, curious

I watch in awe of their beauty

Of their possibilities

Stars swim the boundless sea

Hypnotized, inquisitive

They watch in awe of my beauty

Of my possibilities

Aimless is my direction.

Nearly barren roads of good

From which to make choice.

In this world of disdain

Seeping from many tongues

Keep me safe from conformity.

When immersed in evil

Amidst deceitful claims

Keep my truth oblivious to its effects.

Choices of clarity bestowed

Through seasoned mentors

All that is needed

My insatiable hunger for the unseen

Is akin...

hers roll

in morphine ecstacy

relieving agony, I cannot imagine.

fear is traded for soothing fantasy

drifting off to some unknown world

no doubt prettier.

and mine,

they fear closing for missing

when she is finally free.

The day closes like a whisper

a light exhale takes the room

quick like an eon

hushing 63 years lived hard.

Oppotunities long passed

for questions and answers hold no weight

in a body nearly free of all its baggage

and that much heavy

earned its wings in endurance

and is worthy of a burden free flight home....
